Lipstick Queen's Frog Prince was conceived by brand founder Poppy King as the ultimate "your lips but better" product - one that removed the guesswork of finding the right pink by making the colour entirely personal to the wearer. The formula contains a pH-reactive dye (Red 21 / CI 45380) that shifts to a vivid pink-red upon contact with the moisture and slight acidity of your lips.

Because everyone's skin pH differs - typically between 4.5 and 6.2 - the resulting shade varies from person to person. Those with a lower, more acidic pH develop a deeper, more saturated rose. Those with a higher pH get a softer, sheer flush. Even the same person can see different results depending on hydration, diet, and the weather. That variability was the entire point.

The formula paired this colour technology with a nourishing base: Shea Butter and Mango Seed Butter condition and protect; Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant; Castor Oil gives the signature glossy, wet slip. The result wears like a balm but stains like a tint, lasting 4 to 6 hours from a single application.
